Wunday Naturals started from very meager beginnings in our kitchen on our property on the Far North Coast of NSW in a tiny town called New Italy. My soaping passion started out of necessity after my daughter suffered with severe eczema and shop bought products seemed to aggravate her skin condition, and so it started with experimenting with different combinations of natural fruit, vegetable and nut oils and adding essential oils and plant extracts to help heal and sooth the skin.
Over the years I have developed my recipe until I found unique combinations of oils that will relieve the itching, dryness and redness of most skin conditions. My family and friends were my first guinea pigs, trying and comparing different soaps and moisturisers containing different oil combinations.
Four years ago my partner and I found ourselves un-employed due to the downturn in the Tea-tree oil industry. After much soul searching about what we should do, we decided to try taking some of our products to our local craft market. I had acquired quite a few by this point and was having trouble trying to find somewhere to keep them all, it was a great success and so we went along the following month Wow! We were rapt we sold out.
